Purpose and Scope

Purpose
This procedure describes the process to identify and evaluate the significance of environmental risks associated with the BBC's activities, products and services. 

Scope
This procedure applies to all BBC activities in all locations within the United Kingdom, including fixed sites and non-fixed locations and events.  The procedure covers environmental risks under the control and influence of the BBC, including BBC staff and suppliers.  This includes risks that may occur under normal or abnormal situations and impacts associated with potential emergency situations.
