Purpose and Scope

Purpose
This procedure describes the process to identify and evaluate the impact of environmental legal and other requirements which relate to the BBC's significant risks.

 

It will ensure that the BBC is aware of and understands the implications of core Environmental legislation, regulations and other environmental requirements that can influence or affect its UK activities.

 

Scope
This procedure is applicable to all BBC activities and services, both direct and indirect, of all BBC Divisions.  This includes new developments and new or modified activities and services.
