What is environmental risk?
Environmental Risks are ways in which the BBC's activities have the potential to impact on the environment. For example the fly tipping of waste as a result of not using a registered waste carrier.
Why does it matter to me?
Everyone's activities have an impact on the environment. Take a look at the Environmental Policy to see what our commitments are.
What is the BBC doing to reduce environmental risk?
The myRisks system will be enhanced to address environmental management, allowing us to identify and control any necessary issues.
What increased functionality will myRisks have?
myRisks will include a wide variety of tools for the BBC to use, including:
- Environmental Risk Register
- Environmental Legislation Register
- Technical Standards and Guidance Documents
- Enhanced Risk Assessments
