As a manager where do I get advice?
Managers can obtain advice on occupational health issues by contacting Occupational Health (BBC HR Direct).
 
What can OH do to help me?
Occupational Health provides advice to staff and to their managers after discussion of the detailed health issues, liaising with GPs if necessary, and occasionally asking for views from other medical specialists.
 
Does the BBC still provide travel advice?
Yes, clinics are still available, but not necessarily on BBC premises, see the information on Travel & Working Abroad
 
How long do I have to wait for a report if I see medical staff?
Reports will normally be issued within twenty-four hours following a consultation, and will normally be explained to the patient before being sent.
 
What is an assessment for Fitness to Work?
An assessment of fitness for work includes a review the travel to, from, and during work, the extent of the intrinsic demands of the work, and the necessary interactions with colleagues, following a lengthy period of sickness
