Weather Reports

Make sure that all involved in the production have the information needed to film/record safely, for example weather information.

No one should go on water without checking the weather for the duration of the voyage. Your competent skipper will do this and you will want to know because of the affect on the pictures and sound you will obtain.  Reports on local weather sea conditions and strong wind warnings are available from:
  • The coast guard;
  • BBC Weather;
  • BBC local radio stations; and
  • Marine call on 0891 505 200 (which provides forecasts up to 12 miles from the shore).
