The BBC production are required to justify why they wish to include a contractor on the BBC's Vetted List
The contractor should be able to demonstrate that they operate their business safely.
The contractor must provide a signed statement of acceptance of BBC Terms of Trade. Evidence will be required of properly effected and paid up employers and public liability insurance.
They should also provide any other relevant standards, safety policy and supporting health and safety rules for those employed
Any prosecutions or enforcement notices served on the contractor must be made known to the BBC.
Ther equipment must be suitable and safe for the purpose.
Withdrawal may result from failure to comply with BBC requirements.
