Key Points

  • Consider if the work has to be done at height
  • Ensure that you have done a Risk Assessment
  • Any contractor working for you needs to provide the production with a Risk Assessment
  • Ensure that there are arrangements in place to prevent any one falling
  • If someone falls and they are wearing a harness, there must be arrangements in place to rescue them within 15 minutes
  • Scaffolding needs to be put up by a vetted contractor
  • Cherry Picker contractors need to come off the vetted list
  • Flying Ballet contractors need to come off the vetted list.
