Corridors, walkways, stairs, doorways, around a workplace must be clean and clear of obstructions.
Managers must ensure suitable staff are identified and nominated to train as First Aiders as required.
Don't use mobile phones where they may interfere with other equipment, e.g., hospitals, aeroplanes, petrol stations, quarries and where explosive gases may be present.
Rest areas should provide sufficient chairs, and if the facility is used for eating, tables should be provided.
Smoking is not permitted anywhere in BBC buildings with the exception of a small number of controlled designated smoking areas.
