EGN15 - Inspection, Testing & Certification of Mobile Electrical Systems - (MES)

 

This Electrical Guidance Note (EGN 15) provides the requirements and supporting guidance to assist those responsible in the BBC for the management, procurement and use of electrical systems in mobile and transportable units to carry out their duties. EGN 15 defines management responsibilities and sets minimum standards for the management of the procurement, design, installation, operation and testing of electrical systems in vehicles. It also sets out the minimum standards to be met in relation to the inspection, testing and keeping of records associated with such electrical systems.

 

In general this EGN covers the electrical systems in vehicles.
