Staff must:

Not work with a hazardous substance unless they understand the risks of the work and follow the required precautions and control measures;
Not introduce hazardous substances without authorisation;
Dispose of any hazardous material in the appropriate, specified and legal way.
Store any substances safely and where they cannot be accessed by unauthorised persons;
Tell their manager or BBC Safety if they suffer ill-effects, including irritation due to work involving substance exposure.
