- Contractors must provide a risk assessment for their work.
- If more than one set of contractors are used, they must communicate their risks to one and other.
- Establish a set of site rules which reflect the nature of the work, environment and the individuals on site.
- There should be one person in over all charge of the building work.
- All those on site, builders and production follow the site rules.
- The Director must consider the impact of the building work on their crew.
- Discuss the nature of the work with your ORM Safety Advisor.
- Ask the question; Do the CDM Regulations apply?
- The production must do a risk assessment.
