To participate in adventure activities / 'high risk' sports, the production must:
  • Appoint a suitable expert provider.
  • Verify their competence.
  • Liase with expert to co-ordinate the activity.
  • Keep the participants informed on what is required.
  • Ensure participants are fit and capable to take part.
  • Complete a risk assessment, incorporating information from the expert.
  • Monitor compliance with risk assessment findings when on location.
  • Avoid putting pressure on participants to take part against their will.
