  • All parties to a contract have specific responsibilities under H&S law.
  • H&S Law applies to all work activities and to almost everyone.
  • When seeking a contractor, check out their health and safety record and   competency skills, training and experience their workers have to do the job.
  • All parties need to share information and agree what has to be done, how it is going to be done and who is responsible.
  • Make sure everyone knows who is in control and co-ordinating the Event and the risks involved.
