Facilities for the Children

Where a child is required to participate in any physical activity e.g. games, a fitness to participate form must be completed by their GP or other medical practitioner.  Any welfare and recreation facilities provided must be checked and maintained to ensure that they will be safe when used by children.

Where needed, separate toilet facilities may be provided for children.

On longer production set-ups, the child's education is another important factor. Separate areas must be set aside for recreation and tutoring.

Facilities must be made available for the children to contact a parent if they want to.
