Working Around the World

Where an event is organised or recorded in another country, each production must assess any additional risks and this must be recorded on the risk assessment. Guidance for travelling around the world are detailed on the International Working and the Hostile Environments pages.
 
The Producer/manager must:
  • Check if the country is on the Hostile Environments list. If the country is listed, then the hostile environments policy must be adhered to.
  • Ensure the risk assessment addresses any additional risks.
  • If further information is needed about the country, the Producer/manager should check with the Foreign & Commonwealth Office or BBCi.
  • Check if there are any Occupational Health requirements for visiting the country.
  • Complete Working Abroad Checklist.
