There must be satisfactory arrangements to control any animal that has been allowed on to BBC premises.

For recording on BBC premises:

Obtain clearance from premises manager.
Performing animals should be obtained from a reputable animal handler.
Ensure the animal is under the control of a competent person.
Ensure that welfare arrangements for the animal are in place.
Carry out a risk assessment and provide the results to those who may be affected e.g. through the schedule or briefing on the day.
Ensure that the animal has relevant licenses e.g. DWA.
