If a BBC manager agrees to the secondment of one of their staff they should ensure that:

the organisation is assessed as safety competent to act as host organisation
the member of staff is competent to carry out the tasks they will be asked to do
the host employer provides you and the member of staff with adequate information about the risks and control measures in place and about the arrangements for emergencies; and
the member of staff receives and understands such information.
