Secondment
Secondment

BBC Policy on secondments is set out in the Managers' Guidelines.
 
All secondments are administered by Human Resources. The agreement terms determine the relationship.  The arrangements for a secondment will be set out in a letter or agreement which should clarify that the organisation will:
  • act as host employer
  • work safely
  • comply with all health, safety and fire legislation
  • have sources of health and safety advice; and
  • notify the BBC of accidents involving the BBC seconded member of staff.
