Risk Assessment
The Producer/manager must ensure a risk
assessment is undertaken detailing all the activities for the
event. This should be retained in the Safety file.
The Producer/manager must ensure risk assessments are suitable
and sufficient for the event. This process will take into account
the hazards identified at the event, the equipment to be used and
competency of personnel engaged to perform the task.

The Producer/Manager must ensure that the enclosed generic
risk assessments are suitable and sufficient for the event. If
additional risks are identified, these should be assessed and added
to the generic risk assessment, detailing the precautions taken to
eliminate or reduce them to an acceptable level and communicated to
other interested parties. It should be noted that these assessments
do not include the risks associated with Resources.
If the Producer/manager believes there is a threat of violence
and/ or aggression to the production, the Producer/manager must
complete the
Security Stewarding
Checklist.
All contractors should provide the production with a risk
assessment detailing their work activities and this should be
retained in the safety file.
A copy of the Production's risk assessment should be forwarded
to the local Safety Advisor. (A copy of the Programme RA
form, a generic work activity RA form with guidance on how to do a
suitable RA and examples of controls for identified risks are
available at the back of this Section).
