Planning Events
Allocation of Responsibilities

The Event Producer / Manager should meet with interested parties at the earliest opportunity to define and agree the elements of the event which the BBC will contribute and will therefore be responsible for.

Form 1- Responsibilities for Events must be completed and attached to:
  • the Programme Risk Assessment.
  • as a schedule to Event contracts
  • A copy should be sent to the local Safety Advisor.
Each section of the form should be completed naming the organisation/ delegated person who is responsible for arranging the particular element of the event.
