Key Points
- Create a health and safety 'policy' which
demonstrates your commitment to H&S as integral to the success
of the Event.
- Plan to ensure the Health and safety policy is
put in place.
- Organise an effective management structure and
arrangements for the Event by detailing the roles and
responsibilities of all working on the Event, and how the work is
to be carried out in a safe manner, assessment of risk, sharing of
information, provision of relevant training etc.
- Monitor the implementation and performance.
- Review the arrangements and improve as
necessary.
