Assessing the Security Threat

The BBC Threat Level Assessment produced by Head of Corporate Security gives regular intelligence on the terrorist threat.   It will take into account the current national and international climate, and terrorist campaigns. 

 

When carrying out a Security Risk Assessment, consider; is there something about the broadcast output, the building or staff, or an association with a high profile individual, who is a terrorist target in their own right?  Does your location mean that you may suffer collateral damage from an attack on a high-risk neighbour?  Will you be working in a high crime neighbourhood or country?
