Avoiding Environmental Nuisance (BBC Premises)

Prior to an outside broadcast, locations and events a risk assessment using the BBC risk assessment process must be undertaken A record of the risk assessment must be held on site and mitigation measures implemented as identified before the event commences.

The following factors must be considered:

The location of the event and its proximity to residential areas.
The volume of noise and the intensity of light which is going to be produced.
The adequacy of mitigation techniques and other noise and light pollution control measures.
