Audiences and Visitors

This guidance note is aimed at Producers who invite audiences to our programmes or our premises. The guidance is relevant for audiences of radio and television programmes, as well as for BBC Events.

 

The Producer is responsible for the health, safety and welfare of invited audiences.

 

The principles outlined may be applied to other visitors to BBC Premises e.g. those who attend open days.  The person in charge of the premises takes responsibility for their safety whilst on site.
