Disaster Coverage

We report on natural disasters e.g. earthquakes and forest fires and often at short notice. It is important that the risks incurred in order to cover the event are assessed so that our staff or anyone else are not harmed by our work.

 

The assessment will need to address the emotional effect that observing and reporting on such events may have on all those involved in the coverage e.g. the crew and journalists and also those editing the stories at base.
