Crisis Management and Security Support

There have been a growing number of security incidents involving BBC crews and other Broadcasters in the UK and abroad.

It is important that security risks are considered in conjunction with the programme safety risk assessment. Where there are significant risks identified, or there is any concern for the safety/security of staff or others affected by BBC activities, BBC Safety must be consulted.

Where there is criminal threat, activity or intent, then BBC Corporate Security must be informed at the earliest opportunity.
