Lifting Equipment

Lifting equipment is any equipment which lifts persons and/or equipment.
 
Lifting equipment includes such things as cranes (fixed and mobile), gantry cranes, builders lifts, studio scenery hoists/winches, counterweight sets (portable and fixed), lighting hoists/barrels/monopoles, scaffold hoists, window cleaning hoists and cradles, chain winches (powered and manual), telehandlers, tail lifts, genie lifts, dock levellers; passenger and goods lifts, telescopic communications masts (air, hydraulic or wire operated), blocks and tackle, wire and fibre rope, slings and lifting bonds, load spreaders, hooks, jacks, garage lifts and engine hoists, fork-lift trucks, mobile elevating work platforms and related lifting mechanisms such as hooks, chains, slings, shackles and eyebolts.
