Water Abstraction and Disposal

This guidance is applicable to personnel managing outside broadcasts, locations, events and BBC premises. Water abstraction may include taking water from lakes, rivers, streams and using the water for special effects such as rain, and sanitation needs. Water disposal includes disposal of liquid catering waste, effluents and other contaminated waters.
