Contaminated Land

This guidance is applicable to personnel managing outside broadcasts, locations, events and BBC premises. Any solid or liquid substance entering on to land is classified as a pollutant. This includes chemicals, salt, wash waters, waste products, trade effluents, and fuels. The following guidance will provide details on how to prevent contamination to land occurring.
